It’s so sad this movie was butchered before it even came out and from what I read by Australian critics themselves…maybe not majority but more than enough to make this movie almost flop.  It’s not a bad film.  Maybe if they didn’t use AUSTRALIA as the title, it would have fared much better.  Which reminds me that few months ago, a Tagalog film was released and it was called: Love me Again: Land Down Under ~ A love story w/c was partly shot in Australia, the movie managed well but could have done better.  Now imagine…If the Hollywood production AUSTRALIA was called: Love me Again: Land Down Under and the Tagalog movie is simply entitled: AUSTRALIA (As Filipinos are fond of foreign titles…) Maybe and just possibly, these two movies would have worked wonders in the blockbuster charts.
