Terminator Salvation

I don’t know if it was because I haven’t seen a movie in more than a month ~ unless you count the movie(s) I watched on the airplane some weeks ago…The Duchess which starts Keira Knightly and Afterwards that starred John Malkovich.  Terminator Salvation surprisingly rates a mere 2 Star on my list.  The reasons [...]

The Unborn

If I didn’t shut my eyes close 50% of the time while watching this film, (avoiding the shocking & scary parts~) it would have gotten a 3 Star from me.  This movie feels like a combination of Omen + Exorcist.  What I found interesting was when they intertwined the story of how a Nazi Holocaust mad scientist/doctor experimented on those poor [...]

Max Payne

So I missed seeing Body of Lies as it stopped showing few weeks back but for some reason Max Payne is still running even though both these movies where opened at the same time.
Anyway, before I review this movie, here’s a thought:  What happens when your 33 years old, still single and have 12 nephews and nieces?!  [...]

You Don’t Mess with the Zohan

It’s a comedy for adults.  This is a great mid-week movie to see after a days’ work.  It even has a moral lesson in the end!  Definitely for people who are open minded and takes pleasure in exaggerated and reliable humor.

10,000 B.C.

The first thing that viewers will notice in this movie is that in 10,000 B.C. people speak English?!  So aside from that weird not-so-realistic (maybe to make it more convenient for movie goers to understand) plot.  I should say in all honesty that it’s worth watching in the big screen even for the effects alone.  [...]

Shoot ‘Em Up

If there was one person good enough to play James Bond, that would have to be Mr. Clive Owen.  With his deep baritone voice, I can just imagine him saying that famous line. “My name is Bond, James Bond“.  So it was not surprising that he was seriously considered for the role.  Unfortunately, he was [...]
